Arrow Keys: Run around
Double tap Arrow Keys: Perform a short dash known as "step"
Z: Boost Jump
Double tap Z: High speed turbo boost dash. Controllable with Arrow Keys.

X: Main Weapon, mostly beam rifles
C: Main Sub Weapon, mostly beam sword. Notice that some machines may not have a melee weapon; they may have a long-range weapon equipped on C button instead.
V: Shield/Beam Coating Defence(if your machine has one)
A: Sub Weapon 2
D: Sub Weapon 3
F: Sub Weapon 4, usually the most powerful one
Every weapon can perform charge attacks.

S: Change Target
Hold S(approx. 0.3s): Change your target to the machine that is currently locking on you
Hold S(0.6s): Cancel Lock-on

V when Boost Dashing: Transform(if your machine can)
X when Guarding: Shield Dash(Dash with your shield holding at the front. Notice that some machines cannot perform this action.)
X+C when down: Instant getting up
C when guarding: Sudden slash
V+C when being attacked: Counter attack, consuming 3 EX-gauges
Dash or Step while melee attacking: Cancel the current melee attack, consuming a little EX-gauges


Hold Z, X, or C when confirming the map.
*Note: This is NOT AVAILABLE in Team Battle Mode and Blitz Tactics Mode.


* Always use V button to defense. Most of the time you won't take any damage from the front when you are guarding.
* Stepping, if used properly, can dodge most attacks.
* During closed-up battles, use the Melee Attack Cancel wisely. Better combos can be done by doing so.
* Never, NEVER fall to the ground. Press X+C the moment you hit the floor to keep yourself standing.


Hold Up, Left or Right when performing a melee attack to make some variation. Use it properly to hit better combos.

Comments:
Every aspect of this machine is average except for one thing: the closed-up battles.
2 of the 5 weapons cannot hit the enemy if too close; Melee attacks have very small combo numbers and its damage doesn't seem to cost its price; Takes a long time to take out its sword. But, it is equipped with a Jet Skateboard, making it pretty easy to evade or to make a longer distance. In conclusion, this machine is best suited for MEDIUM TO LONG RANGE HIT-AND-RUN TACTICS. Do NOT pull your sword unless you find yourself in danger.

- L/R 1Hit > Cancel > L/R 1Hit > Cancel > L/R 1Hit > Cancel > L/R 1Hit > Cancel > L/R 1Hit > Cancel > L/R 2Hits ( 490 ) / This combo can break the opponent's defence. Notice that Step Cancelling CAN NOT be used to perform this combo.

Comments:
A very well-balanced machine. While having a good variation of weapons at medium to long range, its closed-up attacks are also easy to use. The only problem is that ITS BOOST ENERGY RUNS OUT QUITE EASILY, so keep an eye on it. Also, It's worth mentioning that although this machine is equipped ENTIRELY with beam weapons, it DOES NOT have a good anti-beam ability. In conclusion, this machine is best suited for ALL-RANGE GUN BATTLES.

Comments:
This machine is equipped mostly with cartridge weapons, making it LACK OF VARIETY while attacking. Plus, Its armor level and speed are also dissatisfying. During 1 on 1 battles, it might be pushed very hard. The only way to overcome those cons is to USE THE GRENADES WISELY.

Comments:
Definately the WEAKEST MACHINE in this game. A measly 700m of Lock-On range and a weapon list EXTREMELY LACK OF VARIETY making this machine's MEDIUM TO LONG RANGE ATTACKS ONLY SLIGHTLY BETTER THAN GARBAGE. But, surprisingly, this machine has PRETTY GOOD MELEE ABILITIES. Use those CLOSED-UP WEAPONS to win. And, during team battles, you can also use the grenades to perform KAMIKAZE ATTACKS.

Tips On Transforming:
Notice that you can PULL YOUR SWORDS during the transforming motion, making the following tactics possible:
Transform > Evade > Return > Transform( and pull out the swords ) > Melee
Also notice that you are OFF DEFENCE while transforming, so use this tactic wisely.

Comments:
One of the FASTEST machines in this game. Although it has VERY WEAK ARMOR, its high speed and high manuverbility ensures it being very hard to hit. Plus, its BEAM WEAPONS ARE FASTER THAN NORMAL ONES, accompanied by a VERY LONG LOCK-ON DISTANCE, making it harder to evade its attacks. Finally, its ability to transform adds even more VARIATION to assault. In conclusion, I recommend this machine to SKILLED PLAYERS to perform HIGHLY VARIED TACTICS.

Comments:
One of the MOST POWERFUL machines available. The Beam weapons can cause extremely big damage, and its melee attacks are also pretty powerful too. Besides, it can REFLECT 20% OF BEAM ATTACKS without doing anything, and if the Beam Reflector is activated, it can REFLECT EVERY SINGLE BEAM ATTACK, making it almost INVINCIBLE TO BEAM WEAPONS. Problem is that it DOES NOT have a shield, hence DEFENSELESS when facing CARTRIDGE WEAPONS and MELEE ATTACKS. Also, the Shield Dash Manuver is NOT AVAILABLE. All tactics can be performed, and the only thing needs taking care with is to BE CAREFUL.

Comments:
Although very similar to Windom XP, the problem of this machine is not "weak melee weapons", but "NO MELEE WEAPONS AT ALL" instead. As a result, EVERY SINGLE WEAPON it carries is MEDIUM TO LONG RANGE WEAPON, and they are REALLY, REALLY POWERFUL. Plus, it DOES NOT HAVE A SINGLE BEAM WEAPON, making it pretty hard to cause damage when FACE TO FACE with an enemy. This machine is ONLY suitable for MEDIUM TO LONG RANGE STRIKES. Pay attention NOT to let your enemies get too close.

Cristal BITs Variations:
Different colored cristals have different effects. Mostly, though, you have to be close enough to your opponent.
Red - Beam / Sometimes it may get close to the opponent atomatically, fire, and return.
Blue - Thunder beam / It will hover above your opponent.
Green - High-Powered Beam / Sometimes it may get close to the opponent atomatically, fire, and return.
Golden - Recover a small amount of either 2 energy gauges / More powerful if you have sommoned more than 3.
White - Sommon a random colored cristal / Mostly it will sommon a Golden one.
*Note: Offensive Cristals will NOT attack if you are moving.

Melee Attacks Variations:
Normal: 2 or 3 Hits ( 40 (+ 40) + 40 ) / Enemy will be KNOCKED DOWN if all hit
Up: SAME AS NORMAL
Left: SAME AS NORMAL
Right: SAME AS NORMAL

Comments:
Although this machine has VERY GOOD VARIABILITY, it still suffers from lack of accurate weapons during ONE ON ONE BATTLES. On the contrary, it is UNREASONABLY POWERFUL IN TEAM BATTLES, as it is an absolute BATTLEFIELD DOMINATOR. Every player may want one as a SUPPORTIVE TEAMMATE during online games.

Comments:
Seems to be an variation of BlackComb ( sincethey are all KD-07 ). Pretty strange that KD-07-2 is not Windom but Linux. EXTREMELY POWERFUL AT MEDIUM AND LONG RANGE, and the closed-up attacks can be very TRICKY. Shield Smash and Sway Shot should be mastered to make this machine worth its cost.

Comments:
As the name indicates, this is the "Mass Production Type" of Windom 2000 SP1. Mostly it is similar to Windom 2000 SP1, but this time, the Boost Energy HAS BEEN INCREASED, while the Weapon Energy HAS BEEN DECREASED. Especially, however, the Melee attacks are MUCH WEAKER than the original. It is REQUIRED to perform HIT AND RUN tactics just to stay alive.

Comments:
As the series number indicates, this is a variation of Linux Iris. It is similar that Cymbidium is specially designed for TEAM BATTLES -- but, instead of long range support, this machine focuses on CLOSED-UP MELEE BATTLES. DO NOT use it for 1 on 1 battles -- instead, use it in TEAM GAMES or ONLINE GAMES.

Sub Weapon 1 Variations:
As seen above, Sub Weapon 1 MAY VARY depending on the DISTANCE TO YOUR OPPONENT.
Plus, if you hold the DOWN button when firing, your machine will SLIDE-DASH TO THE FRONT, FIRE, AND ROLL TO THE RIGHT SIDE. This manuver can be very useful to DODGE. Also notice that THE ROLLING ACTION IS CANCELLABLE, making it possible to perform a "rapid fire."

Comments:
ABSOLUTELY the MOST POWERFUL AND VARIABLE MEDIUM TO LONG RANGE FIGHTER. Although all of weapons attached are STRAIGHT LINERS, they are either CANCELLABLE or CONTROLLABLE or VARIABLE. Besides, the variable Sub Weapon 1 can be some kind of solution to the LACK OF MELEE WEAPON. Pilot this machine as you can see in the anime Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ( whatever it is ).

This is a very old topic but yes, the game is beautiful but this is nothing compared to the commercial version which has more mecha's and some more stages that make this game alot more fun and with the costum pilot support this game is very addictive, I love it myself but I started losing interest lately on it but I do pick it up rarely nowadays, I'm afraid if I play it again I might get too addicted to it again.
