In meanwhile I tested your game about 20 times, every time with all kind of bets and your game is very buggy.

- No matter how much I bet you always win the same (13000, 25000, 35000) That is very bad!

- And why is there a minimum bet? (I think 10%) When a gamer wish to bet $10 then it should be fine. And of course he can win let us say max $100

If he wish to bet $1000 then he can win max $10,000. But that's not true in your game! In your game the bet is not important. It's even worst! eg. You start with $25000, you bet $2500 you always will get $35000. When you start with 25000 and you bet $20000 then you also win $35000!

- When I bet the max I have, then it says that I have no money anymore and it's game over? That's also very wrong!

- I also have no idea why you show a score. Casino games go about money, not scores.

- When I shoot ALL poker chips, all with a perfect score and so, then I lose my bet. When I miss some then I win! Also not good!

- And where is the lucky factor?

The game itself is very nice and I love it, but the betting system doesn't work as it should be.

note: about the 100,000, I was wrong, I looked at the score and not the money. Maybe it was over 10,000 and not 100,000. A casino game doesn't need a score! Very confusing and completely useless

A proposal:

level 1:

let 100 poker chips fall and it must be very hard to shoot them all.

give 60 (blue) chips a value of bet x 0.002 (eg bet was $1000 > $2/chip. Thus by shooting all 60 chips: $120)

give 36 (green) chips a value of bet x 0.005 (eg bet was $1000 > $5/chip. Thus by shooting all 36 chips: $180)

give 1 blue or green chip a value of bet x 0.2 (eg. bet was $1000 > $200)

give 1 blue or green chip a value of bet x 0.5 (eg. bet was $1000 > $500)

give 1 blue or green chip a value of bet x 2 (eg. bet was $1000 > $2000)

give 1 blue or green chip a value of bet x 5 (eg. bet was $1000 > $5000)

note: Do not give the high value chips another colour or so! The gamer may not see if it is a super chip or not. But you do can show the money he earns of that chip after shooting it. That would be better than saying "Perfect shot" or so

So, let us say the gamer makes a bet of $1000.

When he missed everything he got $0 (so he lost $1000)

When he shot them all he got 5000+2000+500+200+180+120=$8000

If the gamer made a bet of $5, he can win max $40

If the gamer made a bet of $50, he can win max $400

etc...

ok, so should i remove the max bet, and minimum bet, and i put this because if someone bets too high they will not have enough chips to complete, but if u think its not needed i will remove it, i will change the score caption to money. and try to fix the other bugs you found.

wow. i don't think i have the skill to do that lol, because i do not know how to multiply in game maker with other variables and such.

I am sure it's not that difficult to do it, but I never worked with gamemaker so I cannot tell you how. But there are here many very experienced game creators who do can help

eg. IMHO ExC is a guru in gamemaker

Besides you also could use Randomize to determine the value of a chip (maybe by the OnClick event of a chip). I am good in maths, so I can help with that. I only don't know how gamemaker works

there is a randomiz in chips, each type of chip give 4 different scores, and they all move in different speeds.

Is there an OnClick event as well? If so, please show me the procedure (source code) of that event. Maybe I can help then to write the code you need for the score system

the scores are seprated into the message that pop up, like good job, perfect, etc, and each one gives diffrent scores, i made it a bit confusing lol, you can get the whole source of my game, but u said you are not good with gm, so that wont help.
