I have a lot of remarks so far:
pros:
- The shooter works great :)
- Nice poker chips
- The flashing graphics ("bullseye" etc..) are great :)
cons:
- When the game ends and prompts the high scores, the games crashes. It comes into an endless loop and even Alt-F4 refuses to close the game. I had to use the Task Manager :(
- The high score is not readable (black font on a black background)
- The graphics don't create an atmosphere of casino games. Maybe use a background of Las Vegas by night or so ;)
- The game itself has too less to do with casino games either. It only says "You bet 3500". Never knew the computer may deceide how much the gamer has to bet. That is not betting at all!
- The game has nothing to do with the lucky factor as well. Don't forget casino games are games of chance ;)

i am going to try to fix the bg, and when u click a chip, you get a random amount of points to make it more of a luck!, and iu will fix some errors.

But what i have a problem with is the betting part, if i have to add more to the betting thing, i will have to change the complete game because i am out of ideas.

eg. Give the gamer $1000 credits by the start of the game.
Before the game you let him bet that he can beat the first level.
When he bet for $100 then he can lose his $100 (when he lost the level) or win something between $150..$500
When is bet is $1000 then can he win $1500...$5000
and so on ;)

Please change it a bit, because as your game is now, it's not a casino game at all. Do your best ;) :pals: I am sure you can do it ;)

Yes!!! That's much better! :ooh: :ooh:

The levels are too short and the start money too high (better use $100 or so ;))
After a few seconds I already had over $100000, that's not very realistic.

And.. a bug by starting level 4:

Code: Select all

FATAL ERROR in
action number 4
of  Step Event
for object level4:

Moving to next room after the last room.

But it is very promising! Well done mate!!  :ooh: :ooh:

That error simply means you've finished the alpha :D But of course author could add a room checking...
About the game - the idea is quite good, but you should stress the 'luck' part more. Now it's like simple legendary Morhuhn...
