Well, for now from that big fancy genre Rudy mentioned (fantasy-style casino RPG) we have just a small part of 'casino'.
RPG, fantasy and style can wait for later versions :D

The game focus on a self-made card game, which has some elements from Poker and BlackJack. But there will be not only the game itself, but also the characters playing it (that's where RPG and fantasy walks in).

We have already Alpha 0.20 (decided not to bother with 0.10  ), where you can play the game agains simple-AI computer opponents.

P.S.: if you wonder, 'we' refers to 6 people :D

Player won in yellow??? Not true! I had choosen blue and I played in blue and have 8+8+12=28 points. So I won in blue (28p) and not yellow (17p)!!! If I am wrong, then I didn't understand your rules at all

Readme really looks complicated :D Also was complicated to write...
But the game itself - quite simple as soon as you catch the whole idea.

If we'll have time, we might put in my teammate's idea - helper buddy (like that annoying paperclip in MS Office). Of course, you would be able to turn it off in options.

Sorry for doublepost, didn't see Rudy's last message...

From the lloks of it - there are three possibilities:
1) you accidentally switched the color (50-2-3 = 45 credits), and didn't change any card later (hardly possible)
2) you accidentally chose yellow at first and changed 3 cards (50 - 2 - 3*1 = 45)
3) you found a bug in color picking mechanism (which would be not good)

As it shows in the screenshot - Rudy really chose yellow.

But the results of this 'semi-final' are good:
You weren't beaten in yellow (17 vs. 0 and 10)
Opp 1 got through with red (19 vs. 8 and 8)
Opp 2 lost in blue with 20 agains your 28

In final Opp 1 had to win (though Opp2 had more points than Opp 1, but he didn't reach 'the final round').

EDIT: as far as I tested (about 50 times) everything works fine... The whole controlling thing isn't very comfortable, but hey, its just alpha :D

I am very sure I didn't change the color. First time I took blue and when it asked me to change colors I clicked on "Keep". I am very sure because I had no yellow cards at all! I changed 3 cards and it gave me the 2 yellow ones + one gray one. I also remember that opponent played with blue cards as well :D
I had to win that game, not opponent 1 ... the cheater :rasp:

Besides, look at the message in the screenie:
it says PLAYER WON.. and opponent WON at the same time???

@Rudy: Ok, I'll search for a bug. But if another 50 tests runs fine, that will mean that you're a cheater, not Opp 1 :D

@Nicholas: Well if Rudy didn't click on yellow accidentally, then it must be a bug, because normally anyone would have chosen blue.

Everybody - please check what computer writes above your cards after you choose a color. If some mismatch - let me know.

Yeallow and blue buttons are close though.....

EDIT: By the way, found a small bug in prize pot. After a draw it restarts, while it shouldn't. As this bug don't cause much problems, fixing can wait until next alpha :hmm:
