Crillion GPI - Update

Postby GPI » Tue Jul 26, 2011 6:59 pm

Hi,

i update my Crillion-Version (This version: http://www.caiman.us/scripts/fw/f1251.html is outdated) to 2.11.07.23 .

Also the Homepage has moved from http://gpihome.de/purebasic/crillion/ to http://game.gpihome.eu/wordpress/?page_id=32 (the old homepage redirect to the new one).

New with 2.11.07.23:
- Online-High-Score List
- Users can Upload Levels to my server to share them with all Crillion-players.
- When you don't know, how to solve a Level, try to Press f1 - a Solution should be displayed.
- Many smaller improvments, like new Title-Screen, improved Pause, a little pause bevor a Level starts...

What is Crillion?

The gameplay is simple – You control a ball to destroy the colored blocks. Since this would be too simple, the ball and the block have the same color. Other elements like skulls, who seek the life of the ball, disks that are moved in contact or very simple walls complicate the life of our rounded friend.

The original version was released for the C64 Oliver Kirwa at “Happy Computer” 07/1988 and was promptly awarded as a “listing of the month”. A new game idea was born.

An easy-to-use editor allows you to create your own levels. Simply select the color and stone at the bottom and paint in the screen. A click on “Test” and you can check the level on its functionality. And best of all: Once you are happy with your masterpiece, you can instantly upload it to my server and make it available to all players of Crillion.
