That's pretty true what you said, Godfrey. It seems that after someone dies that their works sell better. It goes for artists, musicians, etc.

michael jackson was aquitted of all charges. the mother of the boy is currently doing time for fraud,de-frauding the government and illegally using the make a wish foundation to fruadently accuse and attempt to sue michael jackson. I grew up listening to m.j. and hold him in high regard. everyone should live a life as full of charity as his was.

OK, even if that is indeed the case, Michael still felt the need that he had to buy them off. If they simply had no case or hard evidence it should went the full distance and Michael would have been admonished but he decided not to do that. Therefore, apart from Michael Jackson fans ie 1% of the world population the rest of the world has a massive question mark over the whole scandal that will never go away. Also, it was uncomfortable viewing watching the documentaries especially when Michael claimed that it was perfectly natural for a grown adult to ‘innocently’ sleep with child friends, well I'm sorry it's not. This alone, has added fuel to the fire. So, Michael Jackson fans will continually be in denial while the rest of the world has doubts. If you believed the media wall to wall coverage, you’d think music had died when Michael died. As talented as Michael was, he didn’t release anything you would call half decent in practically the last 20 years. So, music has hardly died, simply hyped up hysteria.

Ok... here goes my opinion.....

Michael Jackson was undeniably a very talented musiciansinger/songwritrer BUT as previously pointed out that was 20 years ago. He hasn't really done anything exceptional since Thriller/Bad. I never really liked the guy, even less after the Jordy Chandler affair. I agree with Godders, if he had nothing to hide then he wouldn't have paid off the Chandlers, he would have fought his corner! Sleeping with children is NOT the thing a grown man in his 40's should be doing... people argue that he was a child in a mans body due to his lack of childhood but that doesn't make it right. Agreed, the childrens parents shouldn't have allowed their kids to sleep there in the first place, I know I wouldn't allow my kids to sleep at a strange mans house on their own!! He might have been a famous superstar but he is still a stranger if not personally known tho the family.
Loads of his fans refuse to believe that he would be capable of sexual abuse/molestation but explain the fact that Jordy told the police that Maichael had vitligo on his penis and it was proven after MJ was made to drop his pants.........whether molestion was involved or not, how did Jordy know that? MJ should not be exposing himself in front of children.
Reading a column in our press the other day, this particular journalist used to run a tv station and had received a video of MJ some years earlier that shown him playing in a swimming pool with 3 kids aged approx 11/13 years. ALL were wearring speedo style trunks and larking about. It was pointed out that while nothing sexual happened it made for uncomfortable viewing. The journalist also asked how a man in his 40's can find any amount of pleasure out of playing with kids that aren't his own.........I couldn't agree more.

In my opinion the man was a weirdo, a pervert and in need of mental help. It's tragic that he died and agree the world has lost a major talent but that doesn't mean I had to like the guy.

As for his death..... he wanted to die, he intended to die and it wouldn't surprise me whatsoever if it was an assisted suicide.

He will remembered fondly by lots of people but not this girly I'm afraid.

RIP Michael.
I'll finish with a joke...........

Michael Jackson didn't die of a heart attack apparently, police have confirmed he died as a result of tripping over a childs pram but they told people "Don't blame it on the buggy" BOOM BOOM!!!

Oh dear that joke was terrible  :hmm: Yup totally agree with you Sal.

I see that only people in the USA can enter the draw to win tickets for Michael's memorial next week. This decision beggars belief, why the special treatment for Michael's US fans?

I was so sick of all the music channels playing his songs back to back just after his death. I can understand one or two but it was every bloody channel.

...last I heard there is not going to be a public memorial. the problem with the court of public opinion is that it never admits when its wrong. If you seriously can't conceive of a man who enjoys spending time with children, not his own, without sex being involved...I urge you to remove your children from scouting, all team sports and all public schools and religious venues.

Then explain to me how those kids knew he had vitiligo on his penis?

I would NOT let my children stay at a single mans house no matter how famous he was and MJ was wrong for wanting young boys to stay at his home without the parents being there. There was something very wrong with him. The parents are as much to blame for allowing their kids to stop there. Just because he was a world famous star does not exempt him from being a paedophile. There are many stars out there that have been arrested for having child porn on their computers or actually sexually abusing children (Paul Gadd aka Gary Glitter for one).

Whether he did touch those kids or not, they saw him naked and that is WRONG!!

As for teachers etc, I personally believe our kids are more at risk of sexual abuse at home... I for one, know that first hand..................

:k7 to Godders xx

if you want to believe a lie, thats your privilage. m.j. only hosted the child as a favor to the make a wish foundation. its a foundation that tries to fulfill the last wishes of dying children. they were as used and abused as m.j. not surprisingly, the number of celebs that are willing to host kids has dropped like a rock. of course, no one cares about that either. ( you may think your kids are safe at school...but mary k latourno taught not 1/2 block away from where we live. here, in the seattle area there are at least 3-10 children abused every school year. the numbers could be higher as records are not as detailed as they should be. not all those caught are fired. the school district covered for a man here , he'd been abusing children since 1969. ( america is different in alot of ways than england...not better, but v-e-r-y- different. ) There is some sort of memorial in lalaland ( l.a. is a world unto itself) there was (!) a lottery for tickets. elizabeth taylor has already said she won't be attending. because the universe has a delicious sense of irony, the ringling brothers circus will also be in town. ( no joke )
