Various levels of workers in China have begun striking for worker rights. Long considered an expendable work force ( by outside nations, including the u.s. )they have dealt with dangerous work hazards for years. The workforce is limited however, by China's population control measures, so replacements are not crowding into line...
..For those of you who don't know or had forgotten: under chinese law, you may NOT marry until 35 yrs of age. ( if I remember correctly) One child per family unless you get special permission from the state/government. Birth control is Strictly enforced. Any illegal child could not be registered as a citizen and would receive no benefits; no school,no medical, ect. Without being registered, you do not exist, as a person.
..this is original Party line/thought. Birth control is so very strictly enforced so that China can feed everyone. The original Party Founders did the math and discovered a very uncomfortable truth. If China did not take its population growth firmly in hand, there would have been wide spread starvation/food shortages by now. The Party Leaders thought that birth control was much better than the alternatives...
