Dunno if anyone else here likes anime (which people shouldnt hate it just because its anime).
Anyway, Casshern Sins is a reimagining of the classic anime from the 70's called Neo-Human Cashern (Shinzo Ningen Kyaashan). It aired in some parts of Europe.
In a post-apocalyptic world where humans are few and robots are many, a bizarre man named Casshern awakens suddenly. Surrounded by bandits, he goes bezerk and destroys them all. It is learned in this new world that Robots suffer a mysterious stigma called "Ruin", where they rust to the point of fragility and shatter. Some claim this made them more human, meaning they now die, but others don't want to die. Casshern hasn't suffered from the ruin yet, and it is rumored if the robots eat Casshern they can attain whatever makes Casshern immortal.
However, Casshern struggles to understand what started the ruin. He is told by a mysterious girl, Lyuze, that he caused it by killing the Sun Named Moon, or Luna. Casshern is viewed as a tragic protagonist, as he wanders about looking for the answers, with the fact that he caused such a tragedy hanging in the back of his mind. Everywhere he goes he sees robots falling to ruin, which saddens him.
What is Casshern? Why isnt he rusting like everyone else? Why does Lyuze know what sins Casshern has committed? Why did Casshern kill Luna?
Find out by watching Casshern Sins. Its available online subtitled in English, but Funimation has accuired the rights to it, so a English dubbing is on the way.
Other info:
Casshern Sins is rated TV-MA (Mature Audiences), for heavy themes of death, excessive and gory violence not committed to humans but committed to human-facsimiles, and very mild language (damn, at the most) is also present.
Most of the characters look and act human, but are robots unless emphasized through words or actions.
The art style is original, but resembles Noein (another great show), in the way that it sometimes uses sketchy lines to show speed and motion.

R.I.P Rudy I will think of you every birthday.
